IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Effective April 2, 2025

This document outlines the terms and conditions (the “Terms”) that apply to your purchase of a ticket and your attendance and participation in the Venturepark Summit, the details of which are described on the event’s website and the description given on the ticket purchase page. The event is organized by District Ventures doing business as Venturepark and its affiliates or subsidiaries ("we", “us”, “our” and similar terms). By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase a ticket or attend the event. You confirm that you have the authority and capacity to agree to these Terms.
We may update or amend these Terms at any time, and the latest version will be posted on the event’s website or at the event’s entrance. It is your responsibility to review these Terms before purchasing a ticket or attending the event.

You agree as follows:

ORDERING TICKETS

1. Ticketing Agent. Tickets are sold online only through ShowPass.
2. Binding Agreement. By accepting these Terms, you agree to pay the full cost of the tickets, including any taxes and fees.
3. Ticket Purchases. You are responsible for purchasing and keeping a valid ticket for the event after completing the online purchase. There may be a limit on the number of tickets you can buy, which is shown on the first purchase page and checked with each transaction. This policy helps prevent unfair ticket-buying practices. We may cancel any order that exceeds the limit without notice and without liability.
4. Ticket Delivery and Order Confirmation. Tickets will be emailed to you by our ticketing agent. The order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide. Keep your confirmation number. If you do not receive a confirmation number, get an error message, or encounter a service interruption, contact the ticketing agent to confirm your order. We are not responsible for any problems during the purchase caused by circumstances beyond our control or for any loss resulting from issues caused by the ticketing agent, including incomplete or unconfirmed transactions.
5. Ticket Transfers. Do not transfer, resell, or duplicate tickets. Tickets can only be used by the purchaser unless we give our prior written permission. Unlawful resale or attempted resale may result in the ticket being seized or canceled without a refund.
6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Tickets. Notify us or the ticketing agent immediately if your ticket is lost, stolen, or damaged.
7. Validity of Tickets. Do not tamper with your ticket. We and the ticketing agent can refuse or revoke your admission if your ticket is invalid, fraudulent, or suspected to be fraudulent. We are not liable for any damages or losses from such refusal or revocation.

PURCHASED TICKETS

8. Property of Tickets. Your ticket is our property and is a personal, revocable license. We can withdraw it and refuse admission at any time. The ticket does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property, including trademarks.
9. Ticket Pricing Errors. We strive to ensure all event prices are accurate, but errors can occur. If we find a pricing error in your order, we will notify you as soon as possible. You can then choose to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we cannot reach you, we may cancel the order. If you cancel after paying the incorrect price, we will refund you in full.
10. Refund Policy. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except as stated in these Terms. If we change, cancel, or postpone the event, you may be eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduled event date at our discretion. If you are denied entry, we may issue a refund at our discretion. To request a refund, contact us within 30 days of the event date. Refunds, if granted, will be processed within 30 days of the request. Any refund issued will be your sole remedy, and we will not be liable for any additional damages or losses.
11. No Combination of Offers. Without our written permission, you cannot combine a ticket with any other offer, service, merchandise, product, or use it for profit, commercial gain, charitable purposes, promotion, or competition.

17. Denial of Entry to the Event. We reserve the right to deny you entry for any reason. If denied entry, we may issue a refund at our discretion. We are not liable for any damages or losses from such denial, and any refund will be your sole remedy.
18. Conduct at the Event; Removal from the Event. You must conduct yourself respectfully and follow all rules, regulations, and policies we have regarding the event. Do not engage in unlawful, disruptive, offensive, or harmful behaviour. We have the right to remove you from the event or deny access if you breach these Terms or pose a risk or nuisance. We are not liable for any damages or losses from such removal or denial, and you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
19. Changes to the Event. The event is subject to change, cancellation, or postponement at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or other reasons. Changes may include schedule adjustments, changes to speakers or performers, or changed venue. We are not liable for any damages or losses from such changes. We will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include a refund, credit, or rescheduled date. You agree to follow any decisions or instructions we make regarding such changes.
20. Public Health Measures. To ensure the safety of all attendees, the event and all attendees must adhere to public health guidelines. This may include potential vaccination requirements, mandatory mask-wearing, social distancing, and the availability of hand sanitizing stations. If required by law, attendees may need to complete health screenings before entry, and on-site rapid testing may be available. Compliance with these protocols is mandatory, and failure to adhere may result in denial of entry or removal from the event without a refund.
